- Bambino Espresso Machine (BES450)You want automatic milk frothing. That is the Bambino Plus, which costs well over this page's budget.
- Stilosa Manual Espresso Machine (EC260BK)You drink lattes from tall mugs or want a machine that feels solid.

The details
-
What separates them
The real difference is the baskets. Pressurized (dual-wall) baskets hide a poor grind and still give you crema. Single-wall baskets show every mistake, but they are how you get better shots.
The Casabrews only ships with pressurized baskets. The Stilosa ships with single-wall. The Bambino gives you both, which is why it is my pick for a beginner who might get serious.
-
What buyers complain about
All 3 come with a weak tamper. A metal one in the right size is a cheap upgrade: 54 mm for the Bambino, 51 mm for the other 2.
Stilosa owners mention noise, shaking and a drip area too short for regular mugs. Casabrews reviewers point to the plastic handle and a basket that rattles. Bambino owners mostly ask for temperature control and more accessories.

Who should skip all three
If you have no grinder and will use pre-ground coffee, a pod machine may make you happier. If you want hands-off milk, look at the Bambino Plus, which steams milk on its own but costs much more.

Questions
Do I need a grinder?
For the Bambino's single-wall baskets and the Stilosa, yes, a burr grinder that can grind fine for espresso. The Casabrews and the Bambino's dual-wall baskets work with pre-ground coffee.
Can these make lattes?
Yes. All 3 have a manual steam wand. Only the Bambino includes a milk jug.
Is the Bambino a good gift?
Yes, if the person already likes espresso and has or will get a grinder. Add a 54 mm metal tamper to the gift.
Why not a 20 bar machine for better coffee?
Espresso is brewed at about 9 bar. A higher pump number does not mean better shots.
